Multiplied By God’s Love

#Multiplied

2 X 2 = 4

As a worship leader or team member, how do you let the love of God flow through you to connect to the church? The key word there is “surrendered.” In order for God to multiply our efforts as we lead, we need to surrender to His design, to His plan.

A surrendered heart that is on-fire for God, is an unstoppable love that no one can extinguish! Welcome to a new week at Worship Team Training, and a new theme song for the week.

“Multiplied” as performed by North Point ft. Steve Fee.  Words and Music by Bear Rineheart and Bo Rineheart. Now, you don’t need to be an expert in math to figure out that multiplication is a good thing, when it comes to advancing the kingdom of God, by a surrendered heart.

God’s Great Love The song “Multiplied” was originally recorded by the group NEEDTOBREATHE, but we’re going to be using a brand new version by North Point InsideOut from their latest album called HEAR. The song begins by describing how God’s love grows in hearts, shining brighter and brighter, like diamonds.

Your love is like radiant diamonds Bursting inside us we cannot contain Your love will surely come find us Like blazing’ wildfires singing Your name For God to begin to multiply our worship ministry’s efforts to build His kingdom, it needs to begin first in our own hearts.

This speaks to the need for a personal life of worship to be on fire before ever walking on to the platform. Can you sing these lyrics and truly mean them? Is God’s love bursting inside of you to the point that you cannot contain His love? Do you feel the need to shout out His praises like a blazing wildfire?

The passion for God has to begin in your own heart first. “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

Let Your Hallelujahs Be Multiplied

Then, once your own heart is on fire for the Lord, He will begin to multiply that love as you lead others.  Here’s the chorus of “Multiplied”: God of mercy sweet love of mine I have surrendered to Your design May this offering stretch across the skies These hallelujahs be multiplied As we work on our songs week to week, we first have to get them technically ready to go.

But then, once they are prepared, they need to be released, and surrendered to God. Don’t just perform songs on Sunday morning, but work towards having a whole team of people whose hearts are surrendered to Him, willing to let God multiply your “Hallelujahs” to impact your congregation and beyond in their worship of God, and in their love for one another.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.  By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)

“His loves comes and finds us, right where we are to bring us where He wants us to be.” @BranonDempsey

God’s Love Finds Us The one line in the verse that stands out is “Your love will surely come find us.” God’s love reaches out to us. We love because He first loved us. The love in our hearts for God is built by Christ, and then it overflows out of our hearts and is multiplied to affect others as we worship Him.

[tweetthis]It only takes a spark of surrender to create a fire of passion #Multiplied[/tweetthis] Let your love grow for God this week. Challenge your team to check their own hearts, and then together work toward worshipping Him with multiplied efforts!
