Hope Always

We can never explain why life seems to be unfair. Bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people. We are not alone to cry out to God and ask “Why?”.

Nevertheless, God is in control, even when the world seems to be out of control. But He, is always there; and He is always with us. The Lord is always at work. He is always on time. Hence the story we read in 1 Sam.1:6-17. “He upholds all things by the word of his power: he keeps the world from dissolving. By him all things consist. The weight of the whole creation is laid upon Christ: he supports the whole and all the parts.” – Matthew Henry

A Waiting Hope

Hannah, though she went through life barren, she never gave up. She never quit her prayers and petitions to God. She may have felt empty, but she was always filled with hope. See, when we commit something to God, it’s not for ourselves. We must believe that God is in it because either way, if it is a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’, He guards what we entrust Him. Whatever the Lord’s purpose, He does what is best and right for His people. Ps 10.14

He turns our disappointments to joys, our failures into success. When we learn to trust Him, though His deliverance has not yet come and seems distant, we can rely on His faithfulness. He is able to guard what we have entrusted to Him. 2 Tim 1.12-13 He is gracious to surprise us once again, and He is able to do it. 1 Tim 6.20, 1 Tim 1.14 As we are filled with His hope, so we can come to Him in joy, singing what we believe.

Prayer
Lord we ask you to give us strength, here in our time of need. Knowing that you are faithful, knowing that you are above all things, yet you give good to your people here on earth – as it is in heaven.

May we trust in your never ending and never fading love, who takes our breath away by the demonstration of your goodness and your nature to love. In Jesus Name…
