- Do not rob a God of his glory
- Raise up others in your team. Celebrate the vision God gave you
- How do you work through the tough spots?
- Rest in the identity of Christ in you. Work and rest in the labor of what God is doing through you.
- In the Bible, the word “Rest” is also the same word as worship. Rest is also the same as celebrating (Psalm 37.1-5)
- Affirmation feast on God
- We can’t do what has already been done for us
- Ego is overrated

Jared Shepard: Jared Shepard was born and raised in the Huntsville, AL, journeyed down to Tuscaloosa to study at the University of Alabama, and moved to Birmingham shortly after graduating in 2012, thereafter joining and completing the 10,000 Fathers Worship School program. He has spent the last 10 years in itinerant and vocational ministry, currently serves at a local church, and is part of an itinerant ministry, Iron City Worship. Collectively, Jared works to help disciple, teach, and equip upcoming and current worship leaders to become voices of truth and hope for the kingdom of Christ. An Enneagram 4 and introvert, he loves escaping to the lake, enjoying an artisan coffee or bourbon, playing and writing music, reading, and traveling to new places all over the world with his wife, Clara. Iron City Worship: Originating in Birmingham, Alabama, Iron City Worship is a collective of worship leaders and musicians that exist to make the Gospel known by leading and creating music that strengthens the church. Their heart is focused on connecting the church to its past, present and future by centering itself on the Word of God. The group is a diverse collection of leaders that come from a variety of backgrounds in worship leadership. They are united by their heart for the church and raising up the next generation of worship leaders through resourcing and equipping those called to lead worship.
