How different would your life be

if you began each day by saying: Lord, the reason why I was created was for the purpose of praising you. Even as musicians, singers and worship leaders, we are to learn, know and understand the love of Christ.

Worship has less to do with your leading and more about your living. In order for worship to be part of everyday living, we must ask God to help us understand: what does living worship really mean – how do we do this? Most people think that our spiritual growth comes from going to church on Sunday. Shocker Alert: God doesn’t wait one day a week to hear His children pray, honor and sing His name, or read and hear His word.

Everyday living really can be everyday worship – not just one day/Sunday worship. God desires for us to seek and find Him in our daily living. We find strength that helps us in our tomorrows, we find grace that help us move beyond our yesterdays. Even when were faced with tragedy or even trivial situations, Jesus holds all power in His hands.

“You will know Christ’s love, which goes far beyond any knowledge. I am praying this so that you may be completely filled with God.” #Eph3.19

Are you alive, or just living?

To see Him in every moment, to touch the hem of His robe and to be held in the wonders of His majesty – through our jobs, through our day-to-day, through our ministries and through the times to come. Sunday can wait, how are you living today? You only have today. How will you live it? Yesterday our son was helping me around the house. He saw my Bible and said, “Daddy, is this your Jesus Book?”

You can hear the fragile crackling of paper, as he carefully folded each page. He asked me about all the lines and circles I drew, the different color highlights and the many tabs of bookmarks. He smiled, as he thought and told me about his bible too. If I only had today, what will he see from the book of my life?

What are the drawn lines he would see from my heart? What will the circles of my time reveal? Will he see the colors of my care and remember the bookmarks of each important every-day moment? Ecclesiastes 9.9 reminds us: “Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the days of your vain life that he has given you under the sun, because that is your portion in life and in your toil at which you toil under the sun.” This refers to all of life, love and family the Father has given us. Live close in the Father.

What does it mean to be alive, to truly live?

How are we to live? Worship God with your life. Worship the Lord by the love of your family. Give Him praise that lead others into His goodness. What does Scripture say about how we are to live? “keep yourselves in the love of God, expecting the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life.” – Jude 1.21 “made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved.” Eph 2.5 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” – Gal.2.20
“I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing to my God as long as I live.” Psalm 146.2 Life is more than four walls and a calendar. So if you only had today, how are you going to live it?

Because we are made in His image, so we are to live.

We are made to praise the Father. Handcrafted and perfectly assembled in His hands. The Lord formed us out of brokenness, putting every piece back together to glorify Himself. “And He who formed us with this very end in view is God, who has given us His Spirit as a pledge and foretaste of that bliss.” 2Cor5.5 In the making of this process, we experience joy, fulfillment and His tender mercies. “He made us, and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.” Psalm100.3 also Eph1.9 He did not have to do this, but choose to do this because He loves.

Therefore, we can stand in the assembly opening up our hearts and lifting our souls to Him in sung prayer. “From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly,” Psalm22.25

What does it mean to be a worshiper?

The life of a worshiper is about life with God. Daily communion and a constant state of humility before His feet. Like a broken fragrance, we pour upon the feet of Jesus, yet He is the one who wipes away every tear and stain. Matt26.7-9 Saying and knowing are two different things. As we come to worship, we can and do all the right things about worship, at least on the surface. However, God knows the very heart of our worship. Question: do we know the very heart of God and His worship? Worship and music are not synonymous. Worship is a response, music is a tool. Worship is an expression; music is a gift and also expression. “To transform your worship, you must first transform how you think about worship.”

How are we to live worship?

Often, we struggle to find God’s will. It’s almost as if, we move past finding our treasure in God, which is worship, to seek our own earthly treasures. We are to live the Gospel and to worship Christ as our treasure, while loving people into His Kingdom. His mission for you are to help save souls.

His vision is already in you; what are you doing t live it? His plans, directions, comfort, joy and love are already in your heart. The is why we have the Holy Spirit as our Guide and Comfort to help draw them out.

Jesus then leads us like a Shepherd and we walk by faith and by his staff. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” #Isa55.9 We can always take comfort in knowing that His ways are better than our chosen roads. Ref #Psalm119.59 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through me.” #John14.6 There is no other substitute, as He became ours on the cross and no one can ever take away that Victory. The Lord’s ways are perfect, and knows where we should go.

“Live worship each day, as if it were your last.” @BranonDempsey

Worship in the life of God because He is the way, truth and life. There is no other way, no other source, no other love part from God that satisfies the soul. He is our Life, therefore He gives us the means to live in His worship, because His worship lives in us.
