Committed to help you lead worship through COVID-19

We at Worship Team Training and University want you to stay safe. Members and friends, we are here for you.

If there is anything we may do for you, our members and friends, please let us know.

About two weeks ago, cities, businesses, churches, schools, and other organizations all across our nation began making the tough decision to close down business as usual.

In an effort to protect Americans and churches from COVID-19 exposure and to increase their capacity to shelter-in-place, ministers, volunteers, students and non-essential workers were sent home, essential businesses restructured their working hours, and leaders all across this nation were charged with two high level priorities:

1.) How do we keep our churches and our worship teams safe?

2.) How do we manage the economic and social impact of COVID-19 on our business and the lives of our church members and people in our community?

These are tumultuous and unprecedented times. While we all prioritize the need to stabilize our daily operations at home and at work, we cannot ignore the surgent need to protect our minds, bodies, and spirits from the impact of the painful disruptions to life as we knew it.

Most of you are now working from home alone or with your kids. Others are reading this on a mobile device while serving the public at an essential business.

The unemployment filings across this country have reached new highs for an economic downturn, and the jobless among us have little options for new work.

We applaud and are grateful for  our doctors, nurses, and healthcare admin teams who work tirelessly with COVID-19 patients directly, many people in our country are already mourning the catastrophic loss of a loved one due to the virus.

We all now face moments of sadness, grief, anxiousness, anger, confusion, or emotional paralysis on a daily basis without warning.

We are blessed to have amazing healthcare workers doing their best to care for patients who are sick all across our nation.

Our quick response to COVID-19 and the need for social distancing is working in many ways, but we are still deeply wounded. How we survive, how we heal, and how we thrive are all questions waiting in the wing for answers.

Above all, we must stay safe, stay smart and stay at home.

“You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. Psalms 18:35 (NIV)
