As singers and worship leaders, we want to give our best. But what if we don’t like the sound of our voice, how can we get over this hurdle? A good sound from the voice begins before the mike. There is another myth about the use of microphones. Some think it helps your voice sound better. Simply not true.All a mike does is produce whatever sound is coming out of the mouth: good or bad. The mike’s job is to simply pull out the dynamics of the voice – not to amplify. Your true tone begins with you – your voice – the way you naturally speak – the way you naturally sing.
