GUEST BIO: GRANT NORSWORTHY

More Than Music Mentor is dedicated to providing high quality onsite and online training for the heart and the art of worshiping musicians everywhere. Grant Norsworthy – the founder and content developer of More Than Music Mentor – has the passion, expertise, experience and the teacher’s gift to equip Church instrumentalists, singers and technician towards artistic excellence and authentic worship.

Since 2007, he has instructed countless musicians of all skill levels, across a wide spectrum of musical styles and many different denominations, throughout the USA and around the world.

As a member of top Contemporary Christian Music bands PC3 (Paul Colman Trio) and Sonicflood, as a session/touring bassist and as a solo artist, Grant has achieved significant success as a musician; including a Grammy® nomination and a Dove Award.

But it’s by serving The Church with More Than Music Mentor that he has truly found his voice and calling.

Originally from Melbourne Australia, Grant now lives in Nashville, Tennessee, USA with his wife Brooke and three sons Max, Marcus and Casper.

Grant Norsworthy is a wholehearted advocate for Compassion International and has seen over 7,000 needy children find sponsors through his efforts. He has encountered the work of Compassion first hand “on the field” in Thailand, Rwanda and The Dominican Republic. Experiences there have profoundly and irrevocably altered Grant’s faith and perspectives.
